Goa Thinkfest, Go

The goathinkfest is an event organised by Tehelka and Newsweek and brings together a panoply of the best minds, performers and musicians in the world.

The line-up is awesome, though I don't know many of them, but I guess they should be awesome to be featured in a Think Fest. For example the first page features: Aamir Khan, Abhay Deol, Ashish Nandy, among others.

I will be a Think Blogger if approved. So I look forward to the event and the opportunity to network with some of the best minds in the world. I take this as a humongous opportunity not to be missed.

I am @johnwriter on Twitter and John.Matthew on Facebook. I blog here.

If you are thinking about visiting Goa India, then don’t stop as it is truly a wonderful holiday to go alone for relaxation, or for time away with the other half or family.

I also suggest looking at:

1.  Anjuna Flea Market

2. Palolem Beach

3.  Saturday night go-carting

4.  The Dolphin Shack (Live music, traditional Goan cuisine)

5.  Tito’s (Nightclub)

6.  Goa Fort (Originally built by Portuguese, historical site)

7.  Baga Beach Road (Shops and market stalls)

8.  Goan Spice Market

9.  Crocodile tour

10.  Dolphin tour (includes stop offs at several islands and serves BBQ food)

It’s very easy to get to all these destinations either by taxi or by hiring a moped (needs proof of a valid driving license), although Palolem would be easier accessed via taxi.

goa is a beautiful place to visit, id say nothin like inb the sub
continent but the local and i mean the local youth are nothing but a
bunch of low lives and thieves, they try to con people at everything.
their main sourse of income is through pimping and selling drugs. so
people please do visit goa but just stay away from the low lives. good
luck!
